Loadmaster Training Course
In-depth weight & balance training for Loadmasters.
Conformant with the latest requirements of IATA AHM 1110 LOD01-03.
Overview
Managing aircraft weight and balance is a complex and high pressure task, requiring personnel to operate to tight schedules while complying with aviation regulations, industry best practices and multiple aircraft types. The role of the Loadmaster is critical to ensuring safe, compliant and efficient aircraft operations across all loading processes.
This aircraft weight and balance training course guides participants through both fundamental principles and advanced load control techniques used to calculate and prepare aircraft weight and balance documentation. The course begins with narrowbody aircraft operations, progressing to widebody and multi sector scenarios, before covering pure freighter aircraft operations.
Core weight and balance theory is supported by practical application, with a series of real world exercises in load sheet preparation and aircraft loading documentation. These realistic scenarios are designed to build operational competence and prepare participants for final assessment.
This is an intensive loadmaster training programme requiring full commitment, including pre course study and supporting homework.
The course is fully aligned with the latest requirements of IATA AHM 1110 (LOD01-03) and applicable sections of (EASA) PART CAT EU 965/2012, ensuring compliance with current aviation standards and regulatory frameworks.
Please note: Restraint in respect to Special Cargo (FAA definition) is not covered by this qualification.
