Human Factors for Ground Operations Course
Conformant with IATA AHM1110 GEN03
Overview
Human factors (HF) have a direct impact on aviation safety and operational performance. For teams working in ground handling, ramp operations, cargo and airport environments, understanding how people think, communicate and respond under pressure is essential to maintaining safe and efficient operations.
Our Human Factors training course provides a practical understanding of the behaviours, attitudes and workplace influences that affect performance. Key topics include motivation and attitude, human behaviour, situational awareness, ergonomics, and musculoskeletal injury prevention.
The course also covers the aviation industry’s recognised “Dirty Dozen” human factors, including communication, distraction, fatigue, stress, complacency and teamwork, along with practical mitigation strategies to reduce risk and improve performance. Additional modules address the effects of alcohol, medication and wellbeing on workplace safety.
Ideal for aviation personnel at all levels, this training helps strengthen safety culture, improve awareness and support safer day-to-day operations.
The course is aligned to the latest requirements of IATA AHM 1110 GEN03.
