Miles Aviation Consultancy Supports Emerald Airlines and Nile Air with New De/Anti-Icing Manuals
We’ve recently had the pleasure of producing new De/Anti-Icing Manuals for two of our newest clients, Emerald Airlines and Nile Air.
It has been a genuine pleasure working closely with both teams to ensure that the manuals were fully aligned with the latest SAE International standards, whilst also meeting each operator’s individual operational and regulatory requirements.
Tailored to Each Operator
Although both projects were built around industry best practice and current international guidance, each manual was customised where necessary to reflect local regulatory requirements, internal procedures and client-specific operational needs.
The manuals included bespoke content, customised technical imagery, and operator-specific procedures to ensure the final product was both practical and fully aligned with each airline’s operations.
In the case of Nile Air, we also supported the amendment of the equivalent De/Anti-Icing sections within their Operations Manual Part A (OM-A) documentation to ensure consistency across their operational manuals.
Long-Term Support
We are very excited to be working with both Emerald Airlines and Nile Air and are pleased to have signed three-year agreements to maintain and support the documents going forward.
For operators based in regions where de/anti-icing activity only occurs across a limited part of the network, access to specialist SME support can be particularly valuable. As part of our agreement with Nile Air, we will also provide ongoing subject-matter expert support to assist their operations as required.
